Booking Agent and Receptionist

Full Time, Year-Round - $40k/year with Health Benefits after probationary training period

Realfoto provides photos, floor plans, and more to realtors in Greater Victoria and beyond. Our office is a friendly place where a high volume of content is created at a quick turnaround. Depending on the season it can be very fast paced, or more laid back.

We are looking for a friendly, dynamic individual to be the voice of Realfoto. You will answer phones, direct calls, and take bookings. Just as importantly, you will be in charge of scheduling our technician appointments. Our booking agent needs to have awesome logistical skills and a good knowledge of the Greater Victoria Area to efficiently book multiple daily appointments and associated travel time for approximately 10 technicians.

Work hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm.

We will provide training and necessary equipment, and the support of experienced management staff.

Duties

  • Answer and manage phone calls and emails.
  • Enter bookings in our workflow management system
  • Use our proprietary web platform and booking calendar to build daily schedules and manage fluctuations in bookings on the fly.
  • Work with management to keep daily operations smooth and efficient.

Mandatory skills, abilities, and certifications:

  • Outgoing, friendly, and professional customer service skills, in person, over the phone, and via email.
  • Detail oriented, calm, active problem solving skills; team player attitude.
  • Efficient and independent time management.
  • Punctuality.
  • Proficiency in Mac OSX.
  • Minimum High School Graduation or equivalent.

Ideal, but not essential:

  • Reception/front desk experience.
  • Scheduling, operations, or logistics experience.
  • Real estate industry experience.

Print Technician

Part Time, With Seasonal Fluctuations. $17/hour after Probationary Period

The Realfoto Print Department provides print collateral to complement our digital real estate marketing material. We predominantly produce brochures, rack cards for mail distribution, flyers, and business cards. Though primarily template based, the Print Department offers opportunities to stretch your creative legs. We print in-house, allowing you to control product quality and turnaround times.

As our print technician, you will work in our office, interacting with clients by phone, email, and in-person to build and fill templates for brochures, rack cards, business cards, and more. You will operate and maintain our industrial printer and cutter. You will often deliver your work to local brokerages at the end of the day.

The job opportunity will range from part to full time depending on the season. Work hours are Monday to Friday, approximately 10:00am-2:00pm. We will provide training, necessary equipment, and vehicle for deliveries.

This position is currently part time, but we are hoping to find an individual looking to grow the department and expand their opportunities within our company.

Duties

  • Digitally create brochures, rack cards, mailers, newsletters, and more using content created in-house and by third parties.
  • Print, cut, fold, and package marketing materials.
  • Meet with clients for design consultations, and interact regularly with them as projects are revised and brought to fruition.
  • Drive deliveries to Victoria real estate offices and Canada Post depots.

Mandatory skills, abilities, and certifications:

  • Class 5 BC Drivers’ Licence.
  • Proficiency in Mac OSX.
  • Outgoing, friendly, and professional customer service skills, in person, over the phone, and via email.
  • Efficient and independent time management.
  • Punctuality.
  • Ability to comfortably lift and shelve boxes of up to 40 pounds.

Ideal, but not essential

  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Illustrator.
  • Experience using Adobe Photoshop.
  • Experience working with large scale digital presses or commercial print equipment.
